Berlin, Germany

Hi, I’m Bruno

I write software. I am in my early twenties. I live in Berlin.
I build software that fits the people who use it.
It keeps your data safe. And everyone can use it.

Say hello About me What matters to me What I think about AI

About me

I started with Linux. Linux is an operating system for computers.
I set up servers. A server is a computer that gives services on the internet.
Then I learned to build websites. I use PHP, JavaScript, Vue.js, Angular, NestJS and TypeScript. These are programming languages and tools.
I also know some Java.

I like free and open-source software. Everyone can use it and improve it.
Communities are important to me. Everyone should feel welcome and be able to join in.
I also think about the people who use my software. Their data should be safe. Everyone should be able to use it.
This is called accessibility.

I like to try new things. I have tried PHP, C#, Python, Go and Lua.
I also like networks and DNS. DNS is like a phone book for the internet.
I like to run my own servers. This is called self-hosting.
I always need a new project.

I am vegan. This means I do not eat or use animal products.
I care about how companies act. They should be responsible for what they do.
I also like to help non-profit groups. I built a WordPress website for one of them.

Things I like

What matters to me

AI, with a brain

AI means artificial intelligence.
AI is a tool. I use it when it helps.
When it does not help, I do not use it.

I do not let AI do all the work.
I stay in charge. I think along and I enjoy my work.

  1. I understand what I publish

I read the code that AI writes. I test it.
If I cannot explain it, I do not use it.

  2. Your data stays with you

I do not give customer data to other companies’ AI.
If AI is really a good fit, I use my own servers or companies in the EU.
    I ask for permission first.

  3. Useful, not just trendy

I do not add a chatbot just because it is popular.
A feature must solve a real problem.

  4. Honest about limits

    AI sometimes makes things up.
    So a person always checks.
You can see when the AI is not sure.
You can report mistakes and switch AI off.
